Poster 1
Poster 1 is about isolation.
It expressed a modern society that can also be isolated among people.
In modern society, many people live in apartments. There are many houses in a building. In terms of distance, people are living at a closer distance. However, from a different perspective, people's exchanges have decreased even more than before. For that reason, people become more isolated. Even though we live close to each other. An example of this is that in Korea, there is Go-dok-sa (abandoned-die). This means that old people die alone at home, and are found a few days later. As such, it is a problem that occurs because people are not interested in each other.
I think this better expressed the theme of isolation as a contrast of colour.
Also, the windows close together show closeness and repeatability. This shows boredom in repeatability in the real world, living close in modern society but rather less interested in each other.
Poster 2
Poster 2 is about a liar.
It expressed how lies in modern society have brought about changes in human emotions.
Repeated lies create distrust between people. Through it, people treat each other in a false way, not true ones. In modern society, it is often seen to emphasize a smiling figure. Words such as 'Be kind, be generous' make people more and more false. The lie creates another lie, which makes even other people live a false life. Recently, I watched a movie called Joker. When Joker drew smiling mouth and crying eyes on his face, I thought that was the right way to look at the modern society. Finding a comfortable face for myself is the most important thing.
I expressed the feelings people would feel in modern society by contrasting white and black.
In addition, the symmetry of the human form rather shows the complete confrontation between the two emotions.
Poster 3
Poster 3 is about emptiness.
In real society, people interact with each other through a lot of media. In other parts, however, people are hurt by the media.
Through this story, I expressed the false interest and love that made a person feel lonely in the midst of a large crowd.
I thought the contrast of light and the repetition of form were important.
The contrast between the colourful lights on the stage and the moonlight at home. The lights on the stage are hot and shows the interest of others. On the other hand, moonlight is a lonely and cold light floating in the night sky. Many artificial lights in modern society such as lights on cars or signs have made the moonlight lose its power.
The repetition of malicious comments and crowds, especially, black face with red lip. Those things emphasize the problems such as bullying and harsh behaviour to others.
